THE SUS was formed in Nobeoka City, Miyazaki Pref. in 1999. Teshima’s (vocal/guitar) lyrics and their strong heavy sound make them stand out. After their song was chosen for use in a commercial for Asahi Super Dry, they moved to Tokyo. Now they're on a tour after they released "Breakthrough"" in March 2011. They will be going on another tour for "STEREO"
