			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Japan Music Week this year is a &#8216;community&#8217; style festival, showcasing the best emerging artists and new music, in every genre from hiphop, techno, rock and pop, to folk, classical and jazz. It will feature as many as 300 artists and DJs from dozens of countries and from cities around Japan. </p>
<p>We&#8217;ll do our best to make sure everyone enjoys JMW, so it can go on to become one of Japan&#8217;s (and Asia&#8217;s) biggest events in the international music industry calendar within the next five years.</p>
<p>With the JMW wristband on any evening during 9-15 Nov you&#8217;ll be able to follow our event guide&#8217;s maps to stroll around between multiple events and appreciate the best of Tokyo/International underground culture, and enjoy a musical tour of the city at the fraction of the normal cost. (Most of our events will be free to wristband holders. Others will be half-price or 20% off.)</p>

Tokyo&#8217;s new Jinnan Jazz Festival promises to be a completely freewheeling week of events with all styles of jazz from traditional acoustic be-bop to bossa nova, blues, free jazz, R&#038;B, funk, big band, club jazz and cross-over.. Events will be fun and accessible to a wide ranging audience at different venues across the Jinnan neighborhood and Tokyo areas. The Jinnan Jazz Festival is an international, multi-cultural festival includes sessions by seasoned pros, as well as new up and coming artists deserving wider recognition. Join and enjoy the improvisational nature of jazz as well as the spirit of love and community in this music. Jinnan Jazz Festival (JJF) is founded by Touru Ogawa, Neil Stalnaker and Jon Lynch as part of Japan Music Week.
