Japan Music Week can only come into existence through – you! And your expertise as an event organizer as well as your contacts to new talents or established artists.
If you are an experienced event organizer who would be happy about some free extra promotion, please get in touch. We would like to include your event in our schedule, in our JMW brochure, on our website, and in our media communication. We look forward to hearing from you!

If you are an artist – regardless of genre – please contact us as early as possible, last not least so that we can hook you up with suitable event organizers or music industry specialists.
We are aiming at providing more than one opportunity for confirmed artists to perform, i.e. we will work on giving you the chance to play your own gig as well as participate in genre-related or regional festivals.
Don’t miss out on the chance to play in front of a very special crowd of music fans and music industry professionals alike. Playing live @ JMW will not only give you the chance to perform in front of your fans, but in addition in front of a whole new crowd! Especially for up and coming artists – this might be your chance of a breakthrough!

We would really appreciate your sharing your expertise with us, and would love for you to take part in panel discussions, present your latest products or findings, or give a speech or presentation with regard to the current state of the music business, or specialist topics. We welcome your

We are looking for motivated volunteers, for example to help us welcome and answer questions from guests, take care of security, or sell wristbands/tickets. For more information, please go to the Volunteer section on our website. We appreciate your help very much.

We are looking for further – preferably bilingual, Tokyo based – volunteers to help us with the overall organization of Japan Music Week, especially people with the following skills:
• Event organization (domestic, international, genre/ across genres, networking, etc.)
• Work experience in the creative industries (music, film, arts, etc.)
• IT / Web programming
• Music programming
• Sales
• Mobile
