---------------- ARTIST INFO ----------------------
Making music between Oregon and Tokyo, and with an original style, Lakeshore Driving’s two creators’ policy is to let the music choose the course of a composition. The result is a smooth but sparse electronic sound that has real human warmth. Inspired by 80s electro-pop, with some new wave influences, Tokyo club DJ Michael’s new disco electro sets also influence the musical directions.
Formed in 2008, giving various jazzy-blues and folk sounds and styles a modern twist, Gravy Train are a collaboration of artists from London and Tokyo. Gaining popularity from their dynamic performance and mix of instruments, they are currently touring the UK, Japan and other countries of the world.
I Am David Sparkle's instrumental post-rock music has been likened to sonic short stories that will sooth and calm you before making your head explode. Drawing diverse influences from artists such as Mogwai, Mastodon and Aphex Twin , I Am David Sparkle writes instrumental music that honestly and collectively conveys its own emotions. Their music is an evolving soundtrack to their own lives, and invites listeners to make that music their own as well.
