Tokyo’s new Jinnan Jazz Festival promises to be a completely freewheeling week of events with all styles of jazz from traditional acoustic be-bop to bossa nova, blues, free jazz, R&B, funk, big band, club jazz and cross-over.. Events will be fun and accessible to a wide ranging audience at different venues across the Jinnan neighborhood and Tokyo areas. The Jinnan Jazz Festival is an international, multi-cultural festival includes sessions by seasoned pros, as well as new up and coming artists deserving wider recognition. Join and enjoy the improvisational nature of jazz as well as the spirit of love and community in this music. Jinnan Jazz Festival (JJF) is founded by Touru Ogawa, Neil Stalnaker and Jon Lynch as part of Japan Music Week. Wristbands allowing free or discount access to as many as 100 events are on sale at each event venue (2500 yen advance, 3000 yen /door) – JJF Committee
